The month of April was full of travel. For those of you who don’t know, I’ve been doing quite a fair amount of food photography for a local food blogger and friend, Liz at The Lemon Bowl. She flew us out to Portland, Oregon to attend a food blogging conference called Indulge. I took a food photography workshop with Matt Armendariz and Adam Pearson while I was there. Those two are incredible to say the least. Make sure to check out their work.
The Columbus River Gorge splits Oregon and Washington. Here I’m standing on Washington’s side over looking the gorge. Mount Hood is in the background.
We visited Syncline Wine Cellars, a new winery in Washington. They have hammocks where you can sip on wine and overlook the vineyards. Pretty rad place.
Oneonta Falls. I don’t know how that huge pile of trees got there but it doesn’t stop people from walking through the canyon. Oneonta Falls is one of the most beautiful places I’ve been to. I’ll let the photos do the talking now.
I’d like to extend a huge thank you to Travel Oregon for the lodging provided on this trip. You guys have a beautiful state to say the least. I can’t wait to go back and explore.
If you’ve been to Oregon I’d like to hear about your experience there. What were your favorite places to visit? I want to go back and hike more.
